The senior software Developers will work in the migration of workloads from hosted Windows / SQL to Azure, therefore, we are looking for Software Developers with solid experience in Microsoft stack (windows / SQL), c# .NET, MSSQL / Azure SQL

Requirements:

• Software engineering degree or related software development degree
• More than 7 years of Solid experience with Microsoft stack (windows/SQL), C# .NET, MSSQL / Azure SQL working on large and complex projects
• Senior Developer with role and experience as an architect level

Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Migration Planning: Collaborate with architects and project managers to plan and design the migration strategy for moving existing workloads from on-premises Windows/SQL environments to Azure.
• Azure Platform Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Azure services, particularly those relevant to migration efforts, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure App Service, Azure Virtual Machines, and other related services.
• Code Refactoring: Modify existing code and applications to align with Azure services and best practices, ensuring optimal performance and scalability in the cloud environment.
• Database Migration: Execute database migration tasks, including schema migration, data migration, and optimization for Azure SQL Database, ensuring data consistency and minimal downtime during the migration process.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to define and deploy infrastructure configurations, enabling reproducibility and automation of the migration process.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with Azure security standards during the migration, including data encryption, access controls, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Establish monitoring mechanisms for migrated workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for better resource utilization in the Azure environment.
• Collaboration with DevOps: Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automate deployment processes, and enhance the overall development lifecycle.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the migration process, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and step-by-step procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
• Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues that may arise during the migration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to the Azure platform.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and training to junior developers and team members, sharing best practices and lessons learned from the migration experience.
• Stay Updated on Azure Services: Keep abreast of the latest Azure services and features, incorporating them into the migration strategy to take advantage of new capabilities and improvements.
