Waterplan is a fast-growing startup in the Climate Tech Space that develops a B2B Enterprise SaaS platform for companies to measure, respond, report, and monitor companies ́ increasingly changing water risks.

By showing companies the business case for mitigating water risk, Waterplan will accelerate their transition to a world where companies are incentivized to save more water, abate the discharge of polluting effluents, conserve watersheds and preserve shared value.

Due to continued growth, Waterplan is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting Team.

You will be working in a fully remote distributed team across multiple disciplines at a science-oriented company.

Your main responsibilities:

Managing AR/AP.
Managing our vendor setup processes.
Managing our company expenses process and continuously working toward company expenses optimizations.
Provide reporting support to the Finance Management as needed.
Contribute with administrative tasks.
Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations as needed.
You will be client facing by managing the AR portfolio (collections, billing process), and you will also work closely with Waterplan team members of other departments.

The superpowers you'll need to be part of our mission:

Proficiency in English (is a must).
Graduated from Public Accountant or Business Administrator (is a must).

- +2 years of experience working in accounting or auditing teams (Big Four is a plus).

Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all communications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.
Clientfocused, professional attitude in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Ability to complete multiple tasks timely and efficiently.
Adaptability to changes.
Selfstarter attitude with a willingness to function without extensive administrative support.
Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
Selfmotivated and a proactive team player.
Dedication to continual improvement; strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Based in Argentina.
Understanding of GAAP standards is a plus.
