Job Summary
The Technical Lead role is pivotal in ensuring seamless desktop support across the organization. With a hybrid remote work model the candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance user experience and system efficiency. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of technical support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the desktop support operations to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Provide expert guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and improve support processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for desktop support procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all support activities.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance user experience.
- Lead initiatives to upgrade and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff to improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Analyze support metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Manage inventory of desktop equipment and software licenses.
- Provide regular reports to management on support activities and outcomes.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and support methodologies. Qualifications
- Possess strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to interact effectively with users and team members.
- Exhibit proficiency in desktop support tools and technologies.
- Have a solid understanding of network configurations and troubleshooting.
- Show capability in managing remote support operations effectively.
- Display a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
- Possess a bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Certifications Required
- CompTIA A+ Certification Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
