BI Analyst to join our team

As a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our organization become data-driven by providing valuable insights through your strong technical skills and effective communication.

Role Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the

Platform Leadership Team:

Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Customer Experience, and Data teams to design a comprehensive Platform reporting suite accessible to all stakeholders worldwide, irrespective of geography or insurance product line.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Partner with stakeholders from Underwriting, Marketing, Partnership, and Claims teams to design and develop the necessary domestic reporting suite.

Actively contribute to enhancing data literacy across the team by sharing insights and best practices.

Understand business intelligence needs:
Engage with stakeholders from various functional areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business intelligence requirements. Utilize your technical expertise and creativity to transform their needs into actionable data solutions.

Perform data analysis:
Analyze diverse data sets to uncover insights and understand user interactions reflected in our data marts. This analysis will help inform business strategies and decisions.

Create and automate data solutions:

Leverage your skills in SQL, SSRS, PowerBI, Excel, Python, and other relevant tools to create and automate repeatable data solutions, including reports and visualizations.

Qualifications for the Role:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics and/or business intelligence.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to balance both the fine details of data and the broader business objectives of the team while generating creative insights.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

Position TypeRequirements:

Solid understanding of KPIs:
You should possess a deep understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their significance in driving business decisions.

Skills in building PowerBI dashboards and SSRS reports: Proficiency in creating intuitive and visually appealing data visualizations using PowerBI and SSRS is essential for this role.

Good communication skills:
As a BI Analyst, you will collaborate with various stakeholders from different functional areas. Strong communication skills are crucial to effectively interact with these teams, proactively gather requirements, and provide regular status updates.
