- Delivery
- Help the customer to define and implement data architectures (Data Lake, Lake House, Data Mesh, etc). Engagements include short onsite projects proving the use of AWS Data services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services.
- Solutions
- Deliver onsite technical assessments with partners and customers. This includes participating in presales visits, understanding customer requirements, creating packaged Data & Analytics service offerings.
- Innovate
- Engaging with the customer's business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a datadriven enterprise in their environment. Create new artifacts that promotes code reuse.
- Expertise
- Collaborate with AWS field sales, presales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Amazon EMR and Amazon Redshift.
- Leadership
- Lead data architecture and data engineering teams to deliver project implementations successfully.
- 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
- 5+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
- 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
- 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
- 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
- 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years in experience with Teradata systems.
