The International Admissions Advisor will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the latest trends in e-learning and apply their skills to the everyday operations of the online TEFL/TESOL course management.

    This position is an excellent opportunity for teachers or ELT professionals already working in the EFL/ESL field who would like to explore a more administrative role by leveraging their interpersonal strengths while learning new skills, like technology management, learner support, data analysis and metrics, and admissions processes.

    Position: International Admissions Advisor (Part-time)

    Location: Remote

    Reports to: Director of Teacher Training Products

    Start Date: ASAP

    Hours: 15-20 hours per week (ideally fitting 5 hours daily Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm Mountain Time (local time in Denver, Colorad0)

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    Trainee/Alumni Support: Monitors and reviews trainee progress in online course, answers support cases from active trainees to ensure their success in Bridge's online TEFL/TESOL programs, provides customer service via email and phone to trainees/alumni, sends course progress check-ins and detailed reports as needed.

    Online Course Operations: Collaborates with the Teacher Experience and Operations Manager, Director of Teacher Training, and sales team to process course enrollments, start dates, support cases, customer review requests, and certificate orders.

    Reporting and Analytics: Maintains accurate records and carries out various reporting tasks on trainee progress, course functionality, and customer reviews to track trends, suggest improved operational procedures and make any necessary changes.

    Admissions Processes, Procedures, and Projects: Ensures that Bridge follows our various admissions processes and procedures by completing weekly tasks and maintaining up-to-date documentation for various processes.

    Requirements

    Experience:

    • Current English language teacher or EFL professional familiar with teaching English as a foreign langauge (TEFL) or teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).
    • Customer service experience
    • Highly skilled in using Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint).
    • Experience traveling, studying or teaching abroad and/or learning a new language.
    • Experience using and a learning management system (like Moodle) is a plus.

    Skills:

    • English level CEFR C1 or C2
    • Ability to think critically to find creative solutions and problem-solve
    • Strong verbal communication for phone calls with trainees needing support and/or advising
    • Interpersonal awareness and strong communication
    • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn constantly on the job
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Eye for detail and ability to proofread
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently
    • Interest in international education and language learning
