Magdalena Oro Castro

I'm Magdalena, a 23-year-old student of electronic engineering from Cordoba, Argentina. I am thrilled to be pursuing an exciting job opportunity with J1 sponsorship to work during the winter season.

As an enthusiastic and outgoing individual, I believe in embracing new challenges and experiences. My passion for the hospitality industry has led me to gain valuable experience in food and beverages, as well as providing top-notch customer service.

I am currently pursuing a degree in electronic engineering, which has honed my analytical and problem-solving skills. I have found that my engineering background allows me to approach situations with a unique perspective and a keen eye for detail.

Having had previous experience in the food and beverage sector, I understand the importance of teamwork, communication, and creating memorable experiences for guests. My goal is to continue growing both professionally and personally in a dynamic and diverse work environment.

During the 2022/2023 winter season, I had the incredible opportunity to work at WonderWorks Orlando. My experience there allowed me to gain valuable insights into various aspects of the hospitality industry, particularly in the food and beverages sector.

As a front of the house team member, I was responsible for providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests as they arrived, being a cashier and assisting with food preparation . I took pride in ensuring that each guest had a positive and enjoyable dining experience. My communication skills, coupled with a friendly and outgoing demeanor, enabled me to excel in this role.

In the back of the house, I actively contributed to the smooth operation of the food and beverages tasks. My responsibilities included food preparation, ensuring a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver delicious and timely meals to our guests.

Furthermore, I also had the opportunity to work in customer service, particularly in the arcade redemption area. I loved helping guests with their arcade games, providing assistance with prize redemption, and making sure everyone had a fantastic time. Additionally, I had the chance of operating the 4D theater and laser tag activities, where I ensured the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

I am currently studying Electronical Engineering in FCEFyN of National University of Córdoba, Argentina
