Argentina's Affiliate is a successful company, market leader, focused on improving the quality of life of people with Diabetes, Obesity, Hemophilia and Growth Hormone Disorders.


The position

Responsible to support the local strategy of Market Access, Value Communication and Health Economics in line with local business priorities.

To establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with auditors, payers and policy makers. Serve as scientific evidence provider expert to internal colleagues and external stakeholders. Enhance the Market Access activities impact on the field. Support Key Account Managers on the field to address customer needs to get patient access for our portfolio.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor intelligence on the market access landscape in the affiliate with respect to Novo Nordisk and competition access, healthcare system changes and general trends in the field
  • Drive and execute Affiliate MAPA Plan based on local needs and strategy aligned with Affiliate ambition
  • To help implementing and executing strategic Market Access frameworks such as payer engagement, negotiation, and objection handler in close collaboration with Health Economics & Value Communication Manager
  • Collaborate closely with Health Economics & Value Communication Manager and critical functional areas in the affiliate (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence) to drive aligned actions and tactics for local Market Access
  • In close collaboration with Key Account Managers, participate in virtual or in person meetings with payers, auditors, health care providers and other decisionmakers, presenting scientific evidence and/or pharmacoeconomic data of Novo Nordisk products

Qualifications

  • University Degree (preferably within medical discipline); Master Degree (Preferaby from economic discipline)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharma industry or Health System is desirable
  • Knowledge gained by commercial business, medical position with managerial level experience and ability to work within a cross functional team; Experience in building relationships/networks with health care decision makers (governments, payers, insurers, policy makers, KOLs, etc.)
  • Availability for domestic travel several times a year is required
  • Fluent English & Spanish
