What we are looking for:


  • Paper Street Media, LLC is hiring for a
    Full-Time Business Analyst. The primary role of the
    Business Analyst is to aid the online video streaming & website optimization projects to meet business growth. This role requires a solid knowledge of data, and its use to facilitate indepth business process analyses. Along with data extraction, you will be required to compile statistical tests to determine successful changes and optimizations.

The job will start on a 90-day probationary period.


What you'll be doing:


  • Participate in adhoc reporting, data implementation, and report creation projects.
  • Identify, model, and report on sales trends using internal and operational data sets.
  • Highly organized and capable of following predetermined workflows.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing team for data collection.
  • Set up alerts so that we can catch outlier trends and understand them.
  • Ability to find creative solutions under pressure while maintaining a highquality standard.
  • Understand the questions from different stakeholders and come up with ideas for answering using data.
  • Run queries via SQL to answer questions for leadership
  • Assist in the development of automated data gathering and reporting tools
  • Present suggestions to leadership based on data analysis
  • Create monthly and quarterly reporting decks to present to leadership
  • Analyze data from various sources to communicate findings
  • Forecast and predict future performance for all our properties
  • Report any deviations from expected performance on a daily basis
  • Assist all departments in data gathering for reporting purposes
  • Assist with the gathering of data from tube sites, Hot Jar, and other external sources to provide a full picture of our performance
  • Report on individual performance of series as well as customer cohorts
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and provide insight to leadership
  • Communicate daily/weekly/monthly with sales and marketing leaders
  • Have a clear understanding of the department goals and objectives
  • Ask questions when something is unclear

Must haves:


  • Minimum 2 years of data analytics experience and proven track record in dashboard and report building, data and attribution modeling, predictive analysis, and funnel metrics.
  • Data visualization experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Qlikview.
  • SQL experience
  • Datawarehouse experience
  • Highly organized and capable of following predetermined workflows
