Main Purpose

Responsible for Safety, Contractors & Guest, and Emergency Response compliance at the Sites according to legal local requirements, corporate guidelines, and regional / global standards.

Your mission will be to

Provide leadership and oversight to Safety, Emergency response and contractors areas, establishing strong work relationship with local areas, regional teams, employees, contractors & guest, vendors, external and internal auditors, and agencies.
Deploy consistent sitesspecific compliance calendars to maintain compliance with applicable laws, permit authorizations and company standards.
Lead effective implementations and continuous update and improvement of:
Plant safety: Operative safety

- gold rules / significant rules.

Operational Safety: Process and plants / units' shutdowns.
Projects Safety (engineering and Facilities areas)
Contractor safety.
Emergency response plan and equipment + Brigade formation.
Promote Safety culture according to SSHE strategy. In charge thought the Safety Engineers assigned to the Plants/Units
Global, regional, and local KPI ́s development, aligned with local, regional, and global, update and followup.
Guarantee the SSHE operational procedures maintenance, updates, selfassessment, internal safety audits, followup and closing actions.
Assure a collaborative, strategic and productive relation with Local Union.
Be responsible for the engagement of the direct and indirect reports.

Unlock your potencial

Graduated in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environment, Chemical engineering or similar.
Complementary Post degree in Industrial Safety, Environment, or similar.
Professional license plate in Safety and Industrial Hygiene
3 years at least, as experience in similar positions.
ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 solid knowledge.
Fluent in English
