Description and Requirements:

We are looking for a
Local market Finance Lead to join the Local Market Finance team in US CFO and identify growth opportunities that help the sales office achieve its' financial targets.

The role will be based in our
Center of Excellence in Buenos Aires, and will own accountability for evaluating financial results for each sales office as well as pricing and other strategies.


What you will do in this role

  • Lead the process with Regional Directors for monitoring, reporting and analyzing experience for two of the six regions within the 2 5,000 lives and PEO/Association market.
  • Direct accountability for evaluating product pricing strategies (new business and renewal) to enable the business to achieve growth and profitability goals.
  • Direct accountability for identification, evaluation, implementation and monitoring of local market initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local market Sales and Underwriting leaders in evaluation of local market experience, identifying local market opportunities and implementing initiatives.
  • Gain deep understanding of local market objectives and external landscape
  • Explain key trends impacting business performance
  • Determine ideal segmentation of business for local market strategy evaluation
  • Measure initiative results, assess and communicate impact
  • Engage with Product Pricing teams to share local market understanding and positively influence manual rate development.
  • Partner with Underwriting teams to achieve renewal rate targets and new business margins consistent with strategies.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews with US Group senior leadership by providing analytics and insight into regional/office financial results

To help you succeed, you need

  • Successful work experience within a variety of group insurance/employee benefits functional responsibilities such as Product Development/Pricing, Finance, and Underwriting.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • English Proficiency Level is a must
  • High degree of business and financial acumen.
  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

And it will be a plus if you

  • Ability to foster relationships and operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment and drive sustainable results.
  • Has a ASA/FSA certification
