Job Description:

We're seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer who's interested in making a major impact on a cutting-edge scalable SaaS influencer marketing platform.

You'll be involved with many aspects of our distributed back-end systems including search, reporting & insights, data processing queues, designing REST and GraphQL APIs, data indexing with Elasticsearch, and data querying using information retrieval and analytics techniques.

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Writing high quality code on the backend of our platform
• Own feature development from start to finish, including deployment
• Proactively seek help and feedback
• Frequently review the code of your peers
• Contribute to architecture/design decisions made by the team
• Grow to lead the search architecture and design

Qualifications:


You have expertise in the following:

• Clear and articulated communication both verbally and in writing
• Designing and scaling backend systems, including distributed data stores
• Expertise or strong interest in acquiring ElasticSearch and Lucene expertise
• Deep understanding of Core JAVA, including the ability to troubleshoot and performance tune JVM based apps
• Experience or strong interest in functional & reactive programming in Kotlin
• NoSQL DB engines (MongoDB a plus)
• SQL DB engines like PostgreSQL and database mapping libraries like jOOQ
• Eventdriven systems using technologies like Apache Kafka and AWS lambdas
• AWS or similar IaaS cloud services
• Developing and deploying on containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience or deep curiosity for the following would be a plus:

• Spring
• GraphQL
• Workflow engines (Apache Argo, Airflow)
• Terraform and Ansible
