We are currently looking for a Data Engineering - SQL/TSQL and Azure to work for an assurance, tax, strategy and consulting services project.

What you ́ll do

As Data Engineering - SQL/TSQL and Azure you will support architects for Embedded SRE (Platform) to help current data architects in the day-to-day tasks supporting various teams in GTP. Successful candidates must have sound skills and hands-on experience with SQL Server, strong SQL skills (familiar with T-SQL and complex queries), and the ability to troubleshoot poor-performant queries.

Key Responsibilities:

· Understanding the specific requirements of our internal customers and providing tailored synthetic data solutions.

· Work with dynamic T-SQL queries, DDL, DML statements for creating objects, making updates, and managing user permissions.

· Design the data warehouse schema and optimize the existing reporting for the trading re-conciliation and compliance system.

· Used database consistency checks using DBCC utilities.

· Provide strategic vision and tactical direction for the DBA function.

· Analyze the long running and high CPU utilize queries on the server by using profiler and performance monitoring.

· Design data models and support developers by tuning queries creating views, store procedures, functions and DTS packages.

· Work on dynamic SQL batches for bulk data transfers into OLTP environment and event handle with alerts on package functioning.

· Create multiple dimensions, perspectives, hierarchies, and dynamic measures (DAX) to analyze performances of each KPI.

Necessary skills and experience required:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field.

· Language Level: Advanced English

· Knowledge of index structures, statistics and query metrics are a must.

· Knowledge of disaster recovery/high availability solutions.

· Knowledge of SQL Server development/administration tools.

· SQL Server Management Studio.

· Azure Data Studio.

· Proficiency with SQL Server profiling tools.

· High proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and performant TSQL code.

· Knowledge of Git, or any other versioning tool, to maintain the source code of the definition of database objects and scripts.

· Data modelling skills

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and self-starter

· Strong communication skills with the ability to make complex concepts understandable.

· Strong research skills

· Ability to work and coordinate with multiple stakeholders and customers.
