    The VP of Finance will serve as a member of the Moody's Local Group leadership team, responsible for financial strategy and oversight, reporting to and advising the Managing Director of the Moody's Local Group on strategic financial planning and performance of Moody's Local operations across the Latin America region. The successful candidate will possess strong coordination skills to support Moody's Corporation finance functions such as accounting, tax, treasury, and business planning. The successful candidate will be instrumental in monitoring financial performance and effectiveness across the group, proposing improvements, managing risks, and ensuring the financial health of the Moody's Local organizations financial strategy execution, as well as compliance with local laws, regulations, internal controls, and timely regulatory filings.
    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic Leadership and Oversight: Working in cooperation with the group support functions, ensure the development of annual budgets and long-term financial projections for the Moody's Local entities and the overall Moody's Local Group based on sound analysis and market intelligence. Monitor the financial performance of each Moody's Local entity against both internal targets as well as external market dynamics, liaising closely with the General Managers of the Moody's Local entities and Moody's Business Planning to ensure key trends are identified, reported, and addressed in a timely fashion. Provide expert business knowledge and advise to support the financial functions for the Moody's Local Group and the execution of the company's and Moody's long-term strategy.
    2. Reporting: Understand the operational drivers impacting the financial reports provided by the Moody's Finance department. Work in collaboration with the General Managers of the Moody's Local entities and the group's regional support structure as well as Moody's Business Panning to enhance financial analytics and management information and produce special analyses and information reports as required.
    3. Risk Management: Evaluate and manage financial business risks, develop, and monitor key risk indicators and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as comply with SOX controls and segregation of duties.
    4. Coordination: Work collaboratively with multiple teams across the organization, including global departments such as accounting, tax, treasury, and business planning to ensure consistency and alignment with the company's financial strategy. Support the Moody's global function in alignment and implementation of new technology, processes, policies and controls. Collaborate with Moody's Corporate Development for the execution of M&A transactions by the Moody's Local Group.
    5. Advisory: Serve as a financial advisor to senior management to help them make decisions that align with the company's strategic objectives.
    6. Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose potential operational efficiency improvements.
    7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Moody's Finance department to ensure smooth financial operations and processes.

    Qualifications :

    1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
    2. An MBA or related advanced master's degree is preferred.
    3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
    4. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role in a multinational company.
    5. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
    6. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    7. Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
