What you'll do:

Work in conjunction with other development teams to design and build software products.
Implement approved designs, following industry best practices and with highquality standards, producing testable results against business requirements.
Support the development and maintenance of project development guidelines, standards and process narratives for inscope business functions.
Drive and take responsibility for the quality of development and delivery.
Research and assess technology environment and trends for best practices to apply.

Experience & Skills:

1 to 2 years of experience in software and web development.
Java knowledge/experience:
Write, test and debug Java code using standard libraries and frameworks.
To be able to work on low to moderate tasks with supervision
Understand and use version control systems such as Git.
Understand and use build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Understand and implement software testing and debugging techniques.
Understand and use basic data structures and algorithms.
Write and maintain documentation for Java code.
Basic Knowledge of Spring Boot or Spring Beans is nice to have
Awareness of Batch processing, flows and/or ETL
SQL and database management systems experience, be able to understand and create the previous plus Constraints, Indexes
Understand and use microservices architecture and related technologies.
Understand and use distributed systems and related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Awareness of DevOps tasks and responsibilities
Deployment pipelines understanding
Leads small enhancements/bugs with some supervision and support lower levels
Works within technology platform or framework
Computer Science Degree or similar required
Desirable Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer
Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with teams throughout the organization.
