Job summary The Channel Manager is responsible for analyzing, defining and executing ESET's commercial strategy and distribution chain, and must lead the different commercial actions in order to meet the sales objectives and plans within his/her territory, positioning the ESET solutions both for current as well as new clients. Job description Responsibilities and Duties • To manage and act as a commercial link between the Company and the channels, Distributors and wholesalers regarding the renewal processes and the generation of new licenses. • To advise the Partners on issues related to the commercialization of the Company's products. • To implement methodologies to increase sales, in cooperation with the channel. • To define strategies to develop the market, in cooperation with the channel. • To analyze the portfolio of clients and/or prospects and find the best way to get the most of them, in cooperation with the channel. • To coordinate events and breakfasts with clients so that they get to know the Company and its products, and keep track of them with the aim of selling ESET security solutions. • To generate new contacts and business opportunities, and to assign prospects arising from the commercial or marketing actions to the different Partners (channels). • To participate in meetings with end customers and advise them on the products, in cooperation with the Partner. • To monitor the actions of the whole commercial process, from the generation of a prospect until the closing of the sale. • To formulate the ESET commercial policies taking into consideration the particular circumstances of each geographical area. • To manage channel conflicts regarding prospect allocation. • To evaluate the possibility of issuing discounts or granting promotions to certain channels in order to gain advantage over the competitors. • To recruit and propose new channels or strategic channels in view of the specific characteristics of the products launched in the market. • To develop the markets for new businesses, taking into account the features of each ESET product and the specific industries where it could be offered. • To prepare presentations and other materials to promote ESET products. • To develop marketing skills regarding the ESET solutions' features and operation, and keep updated with the latest version and new products that are being developed. • To act as ESET’s spokesperson on issues pertaining to the Company. • To comply with the Information Security Policies and Directives defined by the Company. • To integrate ESET Latin America's values into every decision and day-to-day behavior, making them a pillar of the corporate culture and transmitting them in every task. • Scope: Regional (LATAM). Requirements Education • Complete university studies in Marketing or similar. Experience • 5 years working experience in the Commercial Area (services, education, or products) for the Systems Industry. Knowledge • Experience in managing a CRM system. • Sales skills and techniques. • Advanced use of Microsoft Office Package. Languages • English: intermediate. Personal characteristics • Active listener. • Customer- and business-oriented person. Additional Information Travels • 30% to 50%
