Job Title:
Lead Software Engineer

Role Summary:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will mentor a talented group of developers focused on creating innovative technology for fundraising.

Your role will involve both technical development and leadership, enhancing your skills and contributing to initiatives that have a real impact on global welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct a product team, collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and client relations teams.
Balance coding with managerial duties such as reviewing pull requests, mentoring, project management, and conducting oneonone sessions to facilitate team development.
Drive the design and development of new features and lead feature enhancement efforts.
Assist in resolving uncertainties and removing obstacles to ensure project continuity.
Foster an inclusive team culture that values clear communication and collective success.

Working Hours:

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Initial working hours are 38 hours per week with a potential reduction to 30.4 hours after three months, under our Four-Day Work Week policy.

On-call responsibilities are required periodically throughout the year.

Location Requirements:

The role requires availability during core hours from 9 AM to 1 PM Sydney time, to collaborate effectively with team members in the APAC and Americas regions.

Ensured smooth progression of feature development by maintaining clear team objectives and accessible support.
Contributed to major updates in our service offerings, balancing customer needs to devise robust solutions.
Scoped and spearheaded backend enhancements for better service integration.
Collaborated on new feature ideation and implementation that aligns with strategic goals.
You have extensive experience in software engineering, including senior roles.
Proficiency in React, Node, Postgres, or similar technologies is preferred, but not mandatory.
Adept at working with serverless architectures and continuous integration/deployment workflows.
You demonstrate ownership of your projects and a commitment to deliver highquality, secure software solutions.
