    Our client is interested in having GL provide initial staff augmentation support with one developer. The technology stack is based on using an open source technology called FreeSWITCH, C++ and Nuance.

    Requirements:

    Senior developer. Any Latam location.

    Senior C/C++ Developer (SignalWire FreeSWITCH)

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C/C++ Developer with expertise in
    SignalWire FreeSWITCH module development to join our dynamic team.
    As a Senior C/C++ Developer specializing in SignalWire FreeSWITCH module development,
    you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance
    telecommunications solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure
    the seamless integration of modules within our products and contribute to the continuous
    improvement of our software architecture.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities


    • Design, develop, and maintain C/C++ modules for SignalWire FreeSWITCH according to project
    requirements and industry best practices.


    • Collaborate with software architects, engineers, and product managers to define module
    specifications and ensure alignment with overall project goals.


    • Implement and optimize modules for performance, scalability, and reliability.
    • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of modules to ensure quality and stability.
    • Document code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
    Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work
    experience).


    • Proven experience (10+ years) developing C/C++ applications and modules.
    • Expertise in SignalWire FreeSWITCH module development, including the creation of custom
    modules and integration with existing systems.


    • Strong understanding of telecommunication protocols and technologies (e.g., SIP, RTP,
    WebRTC).


    • Experience with real-time communication systems and VoIP technologies.
    • Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
    • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile,
    Scrum).


    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
    • .NET Framework/dotnet core experience a plus
