Who are you?
In the role of Business Development Representative (BDR) towards our BeNeLux speaking markets, you identify sales opportunities, create interest, and drive brand and solution awareness and preference.
An BDR is primarily responsible for generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, sourcing outbound leads, qualifying interested prospects, and setting up meetings for the Regional Sales Managers that adhere to the qualification guidelines.
To be successful in this role, the representative will nurture relationships, build value, handle objections, create urgency, open the sales cycle, and collaborate strategically with the field and marketing to create a sales pipeline that exceeds expectations.
In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:
- Strategic sales capabilities that include a high comfort level communicating with all levels of prospects within an organization, balanced with tactical skills to succeed in a fast-paced, high volume lead follow-up and qualification environment.
- Qualification of incoming inquiries generated through web and marketing campaign leads.
- Sourcing new leads through online research.
- Prospecting into target accounts to find new revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to gain insight into individual territory and key account plans and establish lead generation priorities and methods.
- Develop and articulate various highimpact messaging that resonates with different prospects, captures the value proposition, and embodies Virgin Pulse values.
- Provide feedback to Marketing regarding campaign development and execution.
- Qualification and management of data in Salesforce.
- Report weekly/monthly/quarterly and yearly metrics.
- Achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly and yearly objectives

Qualifications:
What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team
In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- First experience in an inside sales, SDR, or BDR role would be fabulous.
- Experience selling enterprise products/services with a focus on valuebased selling methodologies is a plus.
- Internet and research savvy using online resources such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to identify contacts within target companies.
You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:
- Native level in Dutch and fluency in English is a must. Any other European language is an asset.
- Outgoing, positive, friendly, eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
- Keen to be on the phone and to talk to prospects.
- Good understanding of how to identify customer needs and map business value.
- Proficient in managing multiple qualification and sales processes simultaneously.
- Good understanding of customers and ability to identify customer needs.
- Ability to quickly assess a business situation and quickly develop and drive plans to address challenges or capture opportunities.
- Willingness to accept and to contribute with new ideas and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- A strong sense of pace and urgency to ensure work is completed in the expected timeline.
- Flexible, good attention to detail and a candoattitude.
