Roca Alliances is excited to announce that our team continues growing and we are currently looking for Data Application Architects either in Argentinaor Colombia, which have to be self-starting and ambitious individuals who will be working on dynamic projects that directly support features over multiple products.

Get to work for a global software engineering, and digital product development company that helps global organizations engineer a better future.
You'll be working with smart engineers in a geo-distributed team.

Your projects will revolve around crafting systems to evaluate the integrity/quality of an enriched canonical version of the knowledge graph.

This will involve data heavy lifting with projects focusing on data analytics, data discovery and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, test and drive the projects all the way to production.
Build the data processing platform solutions that can perform algorithm heavy computations, can scale the design to billions of entities and relationships — on building various facets of a knowledge graph.
Craft and build multidatacenter distributed systems.
Effectively work and communicate technical concepts with all levels of an organization including corporate CTOs, CIOs and Developers.

Key Qualifications:

10+ years of handson professional software development experience.
Strong design & architecture skills in crafting solutions around data processing platforms and infrastructures.
Strong software development skills in Scala and/or Java.
Experience working with distributed processing engines (eg. Flink, Spark), streaming solutions (e.g. Kafka), distributed storage and retrieval (e.g. Cassandra).
You'll enjoy working on Knowledge Graphs and diving into the problems those have not been solved before.
