Job Summary:


Accountable for:

  • Coordinate and perform closing ensuring figures are accurate and in compliance with Accounting Policies (US GAAP, IFRS, other Local GAAPs).
  • Perform key analysis for accounting treatment for any new business or nonrecurring activity or new process.
  • Perform Balance Sheet & P&L review and variance analyses by business to corporate management, as well as by legal entity to minimize fiscal risks
  • Ensure all statutory controllership and local requirements are fulfilled timely along Colombia & Perú and statutory audits are performed. Revenue recognition analysis for streaming business (Disney+/ Star+)
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax and other teams to support the needs of the business.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement to obtain efficiencies.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
  • Preparation of presentations for Manager.
  • Review accounts balances and work in improvement opportunities, perform issues followup, and promote team working and synergy among the accounting team.
  • Team coordination

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years working in Accounting or Accounting Audit.
- specific expertise: Accounting Reporting / Statutory Expertise

  • Advanced English.
  • Advanced Office.
  • Sap is a plus.
  • Proactivity / Autonomy / Highlydeveloped Communication skills / Flexibility / Wellorganized / Ability to interact at all levels of internal and external / Strong analytical skills, being able to think big picture / Leadership and delegation skills
