We are looking to hire an engineer, or engineering technician, that can design deck structures using sketch-up. You must have knowledge of how wood decks are built and be able to design them in Sketch-Up. You must also be able to complete take-offs similar to the example attached. Additionally, you must know how to quickly and accurately translate deck dimensions into materials needed, using formulas.

You would be working remotely from any location you choose. You would need to have you own computer, and related equipment, as well as a good internet connection.

Let me outline the job description;
You would meet with customers virtually to design their projects live, on a video call using SketchUp. You would complete a material take-off for their project.

You would complete a cost quote for the materials.

You would answer their questions about Company and on how to build it.

You would maintain tracking on each customer interaction

You would follow up with each customer following the provided cadence Work would be seasonal with the busiest time of the year being April-July and the slowest time being November-January

You would have a reliable internet connection, a backup battery in case of offloading, and a sufficiently powerful computer with two monitors.

You would have a place to work at your home. Be able to work during either USA, or Europe, normal working hours Must be able to communicate in English.

Preference will be given if you can also speak; Spanish, Italian, French, German, or Dutch.

Then here is what we would offer:

Paid training at a maximum of $700 until you are proficient such that you are able to meet with customers Then a salary of Up to $2500 per month, with a one-month.

4 weeks paid vacation. 2 weeks over Christmas and 2 weeks when approved from October to March.
