Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with clientside web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience with scalable networking technologies (e.g., Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (e.g. REST APIs, web security mechanisms).
  • Experience in system administration tasks in Linux, Unix, or Windows operating system.
  • Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Jenkins.
  • Understanding of open source server software (e.g., NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch).
  • Familiarity with standard IT security practices (e.g., encryption, certificates, key management).

In this role, you will work with Google Cloud customers and product management and product engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features.

You will support customer implementation of Google Cloud products through architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and more.

Responsibilities:


  • Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Cloud infrastructure and DevOps issues.
  • Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time inregion for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities as needed.
