    Job Title: Payroll Professional

    Job Summary:
    We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Professional to join our team and provide essential support to one of our largest clients. This role is pivotal in managing payroll functions across all US states, ensuring compliance with state-specific payroll taxes, overseeing accounts payable (AP), and maintaining effective communication with internal teams and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with UKG payroll systems and possess strong organizational skills to handle various administrative tasks.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Payroll Processing:

    • Manage and process payroll for employees across all US states.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
    • Address employee queries related to payroll.

    Payroll Tax Compliance:

    • Calculate and deposit payroll taxes for all US states.
    • Stay updated with changes in payroll tax regulations and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
    • Prepare and file required reports and documentation for payroll taxes.

    Accounts Payable Management:

    • Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, maintaining vendor files, and executing payment runs.
    • Reconcile AP transactions, resolve discrepancies, and prepare financial reports related to accounts payable.

    Inbox and Communication Management:

    • Manage the payroll department inbox, ensuring all communications are addressed timely and effectively.
    • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams and external vendors.
    • Coordinate and facilitate meetings and communications within the payroll team.

    Software and Systems:

    • Utilize the UKG payroll system to manage all aspects of payroll processing and reporting.
    • Ensure the accuracy of data within the payroll system and utilize system reports for audits and checks.

    Attention to Detail:

    • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of payroll and AP management.
    • Regularly review systems and processes for improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, including extensive knowledge of payroll tax laws across all US states.
    • Experience managing accounts payable and general administrative tasks.
    • Proficiency in UKG payroll software is essential.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
