    Associate Desktop Support Technician

    About the role Our Systems Department plays a key role in keeping us running like a well-oiled machine. They provide IT support to our 1,200 plus employees - identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues in a fast paced and always-changing environment.

    Here's what you should know if you want to be an Associate Desktop Support Technician at R/GA:

    On any given day you might

  • Open and document tickets and perform basic level troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Develop quality relationships with R/GA employees
  • Input all service requests and issues into ticketing system
  • Diagnose customer technical issues
  • Provide 24x7 page support in a rotating manner

  • Works well with others and is comfortable disseminating information to the larger team
  • Has excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows machines
  • Is highly analytical and has demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Handles stressful situations with grace and ease
  • Doesn't mind carrying a company issued cell phone and working one 11:00am-7:00pm shift per week
  • Understands the need to provide 24x7x365 support for any issue impacting a client deliverable

    • You bring

  • 1-3 years' experience supporting Windows computers in a corporate WAN environment, including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops and Operating Systems (Window XP and Windows 7).
  • Graduate or close to graduating in the career of Systems, Systems Engineering or purposes.
  • Proficiency in English (Written and Oral)
  • Active Directory and Exchange environment experience.
  • Experience with Outlook.
