About The Role
If you're passionate about enhancing software quality and ready to learn industry-leading practices, we have an exciting opportunity for you We're looking for a Junior Test Automation Engineer with good foundations in Quality Assurance and an interest in growing on the Test Automation field. About The Team
Our Quality Engineers are well-versed in the various dimensions of the QA process, including manual, automated, accessibility, performance, and compatibility testing. With in-house automation testing training and multiple knowledge-sharing and upskilling initiatives, our QA experts help create the next generation of software testing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute both manual and automated tests
• Execute API testing, UI testing, and back-end testing, employing diverse testing methodologies
• Report and track software quality issues
• Contribute to the development of effective QA strategies
• Collaborate closely with highly experienced Quality Engineers
• Develop proficiency as a Software Quality Engineer by acquiring and applying essential skills
• Contribute to a culture that values hard work, recognizes achievements, and fosters continuous learning and development.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Software Development or Quality Assurance roles
• Strong Quality Assurance and Testing foundational knowledge including testing techniques, testing process and documentation, defect reporting and tracking
• Proficient with at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred)
• Good notions of object-oriented programming and their applications on Automated Test development
• Ability to implement simple automated test cases using UI Test Automation tools like Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
• Good API and API testing notions.
• University studies in Software Engineering, System Analysis, or a related IT field
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Commitment and enthusiasm to go deeper into automation testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to re locate to Asuncion - Paraguay

A significant advantage would be

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
• Knowledge of API Testing
• Experience working with SQL databases and notions of database testing
• Automation testing experience
• Experience working with global teams and understanding a variety of accents
