Dallas Express Agency is hiring an Operations Executive
Dallas Express Agency is an independent agency which operates under the LandStar System corporate umbrella.

We specialize in domestic and cross-border ground transportation with personalized service at a local level with global reach and resources of a multi-billion-dollar company.


About the role:

Your main focus will be to manage freight operations for existing customers providing logistics solutions based on individual customer needs.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time.
  • Partner Carriers and LandStar BCO relationships.
  • Manage all freight operations for your customers.
  • With a focus on quality and efficiency, create orders, activate shipments, build and assign loads, schedule appointments, track and trace shipments, generate invoices and payments, reject and cancel orders, and update and resolve events.

You need the following to get in the door:

  • 2 / 3 years of professional customer service and operations experience.
  • 2 or more years of experience in transportation or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • The determination to work harder than anyone you know.
  • Ability to handle conflict.
  • Strong work ethic, selfmotivation
  • The ability to work with the latest technologies.
  • An obsession for great customer service

Preferred qualifications:


  • Customer and partner carriers development.
  • Negotiate service contracts with customers and partner carriers.
  • Develop new accounts and grow existing relationships.
  • Leverage cold calling and/or lead generation experience
