Remote Paralegal (English-Speaking)

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements, in English.
  • Conduct legal research on various topics and present findings to attorneys.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings, including organizing documents, exhibits, and other relevant materials.
  • Maintain and update legal databases and document management systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in legal matters.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies.
  • Manage and organize case files and documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal briefs, memos, and correspondence.
  • Stay informed about changes in legal regulations and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized institution in their home country.
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal for an American law firm is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of legal concepts and terminology, including proficiency in legal English.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
  • Familiarity with legal databases and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Detailoriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive and selfsufficient, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Proficient in using technology and software commonly used in legal practice.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.
