Job Summary
The position is responsible for monitoring the intercompany imports and exports, consolidating results and analyzing the statutory profitability by subcategory both for past and planned periods.
Responsibilities
Day to Day
- Monitoring of intercompany transactions including inventory in transit, variances, reclassifications of Optima adjustments and push downs.
- Monitoring of variances associated with the export business.
- Monitoring and ensuring timely maintenance of Intercompany conditions.
- Provide transfer pricing information to the accounting, tax and audit departments and organize training as needed.
- Monitoring of system developments that support Optima.
- Proactively work with budget and planning, accounting and taxes in anticipation of changes that could impact the statutory profitability.
- Manage communication and requests of ad hoc pricing changes.
- Partnering with Treasury to prepare daily cash position and give visibility to the local and Divisional team of the cash forecast including liquidity, planned collections, funding needs and foreign currency exposure.
Closing
- Close communication with accounting and tax departments.
- Monitoring of statutory profitability by subcategory on a monthly basis in connection to the agreements applicable to each segment.
- Communicate statutory profits to Division.
- Propose changes in the transfer prices.
Planning
- Preparation of the transfer pricing model supporting each of the official scenarios (i.e. MarLE, MayLE, SepLE and Budget) in close coordination with Budget and Planning, Accounting, Taxes and Division.
- Validation and review of the reports affected by Optima prior to submission.
- Engage in transfer pricing and benchmark studies refresh activities.
External / Government Audits
- Coordinate with other functions to gather and subsequent archiving of the documentation needed to support the model having a readily available folder.
- Participate in audits by explaining the model together with the tax and accounting team.
What do you need for the position?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, Economics or related degree.
- 3 years of experience working in financial areas
- 1 year of experience in accounting areas
- Advanced English
- SAP (desirable)
