About the role
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the full cycle of service delivery for the accounting practice.

The Accounting Supervisor will work closely with Accountants and Tax Professionals to ensure high quality, timely, and holistic service to clients.

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for holistically understanding the client relationships and interconnected dependencies to provide the best service to the client.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage team member utilization to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Guide, mentor, and enable staff to be successful in their goals and responsibilities.
  • Advise clients accounting matters and best practices.
  • Ensure that staff is up to date on current accounting & tax practices and changes in accounting or tax regulation.
  • Ensure teams work together to deliver successful outcomes and experiences for our clients.
  • Finding efficiencies and optimizations in work processes and procedures.
  • Determine client filing requirements including tax, information returns, nexus, payroll and corporate items.
  • Provide Quality Assurance for accounting work
  • Continue to develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
  • Provide clients with indepth industry knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years experience with accounting, tax or audit, in an accounting firm.
  • 2+ years experience in supervisory or management role
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including word, excel and powerpoint.
  • Fully Bilingual in English & Spanish.
  • Experience working with US-Based Businesses
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software.
