    We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with experience in designing and implementing scalable data architectures to lead the definition of the corporate data warehouse in SQL Server on Azure.


    You will be responsible for the conceptual, logical, and physical design of the data model, establishing technical standards and best practices for integrating transactional sources using Microsoft Fabric.

    This is you

    Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, designing data warehouse (DWH) solutions in corporate environments.
    Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling (Kimball) and relational modeling.
    Proficiency in SQL Server within cloud environments, ideally Azure SQL.
    Experience in data design and integration using tools such as Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory.
    Familiarity with Power BI as a data visualization tool, and understanding of semantic modeling requirements for reporting.
    Experience in designing data versioning, auditing, and quality control strategies.
    Familiarity with Synapse Analytics.
    Knowledge of data security, access role definitions, and best practices in cloud platforms (preferably Azure).


    Nice-to-have skills:
    Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or omnichannel-focused companies.
    Knowledge of data governance tools, data catalogs, and data lineage.
    Familiarity with modern data architectures such as Lakehouse, Delta Lake, or hybrid solutions.

    Design the overall Data Warehouse architecture in SQL Server, including dimensional models (star/snowflake), data load policies, and data quality guidelines.

    Collaborate on the definition of ingestion pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory / Pipelines / Dataflows).
    Establish data modeling principles for reporting and analysis in Power BI.
    Define the structure of staging areas, data marts, and the semantic layer.
    Document the architecture, data flows, and integration standards.
    Oversee compliance with best practices in design, performance, and governance.
    Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, and Technology teams to ensure the consistency and scalability of the solution.
