The Brand Owner Collaboration [BOC] Leader will focus on initiating collaboration by establishing Siegwerk as Brand Owners’ first choice for amplifying the impact of inks & coatings, especially within the context of the 2025 strategy towards Circularity, on today’s and tomorrow’s packaging

- and as a trusted advisor overall in the area of Packaging Design and Engineering. Specifically: Help create and leverage a positive preference for Siegwerk Inks among Brand Owners. Collaborate with, and consult to, Brand Owners with regards to the impact of Inks on packaging performance and efficiency; particularly: Attracting and exciting customers – business development Reducing environment impact – drive circularity Improving time to market, and increasing overall agility – drive performance Uncover, understand and help to address Brand Owner packaging “pain points”. Further position and establish Siegwerk as an expert, know-how partner in Packaging Development. Manage Brand Owner collaboration activities and co-ordinate internal stakeholders and resources. Provide deep and Brand Owner relevant know-how through managing an internal network of key know-how holders (e.g. inks & coatings, packaging materials recycling, Circular Economy, etc.) Main responsibilities: Identify, acquire, engage and develop Business Owner relationships, with a view to forming the basis for close, long-term collaboration. Gain a deep understanding of Brand owner needs and drivers, and then translate these into valuable, actionable Siegwerk project activity. Form long term, productive relationships with Brand Owners. Becoming Brand Owners’ ‘first stop’ for expert advice on Packaging functionality and efficiency. Continually build a positive perception of, and preference for, Siegwerk’s products and services. Addressing specific needs by helping identify the impact of using the right Ink solutions. Leverage positive preference to help foster triangular co-operation between Siegwerk, Brand Owners and Packaging Converters. Co-ordinate activities for larger Brand Owner activation across all regions and Business Units. Qualifications: Graduated from Engineering / Bachelor's Degree in Business Extensive Packaging industry experience. Packaging Design and Engineering competence (end to end value chain). Market expertise and exposure to/ knowledge of network with Brand Owners. Ability to interact with not only Brand Owners, but also packaging design agencies, and other marketing/ promotional agencies: to combine the technical with the non-technical. Outstanding communication, networking, relationship-building, influencing & interpersonal skills both internally and externally Credibility and gravitas to be a trusted collaborator with senior Packaging stakeholders Strong performance motivation – self driven, with an entrepreneurial mind-set. Patience, perseverance and assertiveness when required.
