Control Management (CM) maintains a strong and consistent control environment across the firm. With Control Managers appointed for each Line of Business, Function and Region, there is a comprehensive coverage and joint accountability model with the business executive that promotes early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk.

The

Controls Governance team directly supports the CIB Control Manager with the delivery of executive controls reporting to CIB senior management through the Business Control Committees. The role will involve regular interaction with senior management across the firmwide controls organization and partners with LOB, Functional & Regional Control Managers, Risk and Compliance to ensure effective oversight of the CIB governance framework and communication of control related issues.


And these are some of the activities you will be responsible for:

  • Advisory: Provide guidance on the end-to-end on internal operational risk events
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with LOB/Function Control Managers to triage any issues that may arise in course of risk events recording and/or reporting
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide senior management reporting on the overall health of the CIB Control Environment; monitor metrics to identify key themes and trends

What do we ask for this position?

  • Advanced English
  • Bachelor's degree required
- +2 years' work experience in financial services or management consulting

  • Capacity to learn quickly
  • Strong analytical, deductive reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
