SUMMARY OF POSITION

The instructor will work online from her/his preferred location (i.e., home) and will report to Berlitz Canada's Online Department Manager.

Students are based in Canada (not withstanding exceptional cases.)

If you have native fluency in English/Spanish/French/German (either one or more of these) and a passion for both learning and teaching, then Berlitz may be the right place for you to utilize your knowledge and skills while developing yourself both personally and professionally as a Language Instructor


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Language Instructor, you will deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the interests and needs of your students.

Additional responsibilities for the Language Instructor include:

• Keeping student records and profile cards up to date
• Participating in your performance evaluation plan
• Integrating learning technology into teaching programs

REQUIREMENTS
As a Language Instructor for Berlitz, you must have exceptional communication skills in the language/s taught. You must be able to speak the required language at native fluency level.

We are seeking interactive and motivated instructors who are comfortable working from home or your own office on a flexible schedule.

Additional responsibilities for the Language Instructors include:

• Eligible to work as independent contractor in Argentina (Monotributo up to date, a must)
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent, a plus
• Teaching experience, a plus

Other requirements:

• Comfortable use of Windows or Apple systems (to be testes upon first round of interviews and training sessions)
• Good and reliable internet connection
• Appropriate environment for online teaching (noisefree, tidy background, etc.)

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
CAD $4.00 per teaching unit (45 minutes of lesson)
