Works independently on specific engineering tasks within the required time frame, with support available and regular checks by a supervisor or senior colleague.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Provide a reactive and proactive service, with multiple skills in all operating teams and facility infrastructure.
  • Manage best technical practices and establish standard policies and procedures.
  • Implement continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles, eliminating deficiencies and recommending changes in work practices and processes.
  • Serves as an on-site expert for automation systems, may include some development of related software enhancements, add-on systems, and/or monitoring and support tools.
  • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance programs of the equipment to improve the general efficiency of the equipment.
  • Keep track of engineering changes, update all relevant documents and maintenance of all service contracts, and spare parts inventory of the plant automation system.
  • Interface between plant engineering team and outside engineering contractors to ensure equipment and services are operational.
  • Coordinate the necessary procurement, development, installation, and project management of plant equipment.
  • Comply with all procedures of the management systems.
