Kopius is seeking an experienced
QA Automation Engineer to join our team.
The project is within the Financial Marketing industry and is based in Raleigh, NC.

Role Responsibilities:

You will work 70% manual / 30% automated testing.
Analyzing requirements.
Writing test cases, execution of test cases.
Development of automation scripts for API and databases.
Analyzing and comparing data in multiple databases.
Assist in the documentation and cataloging of developed software.
Be capable of keeping up with aggressive timelines and close follow up on the issues and attention to the details.

Qualifications for the role:

4+ years of experience with manual testing.
Excellent SQL knowledge. Ability to write complex SQL queries. Compare result sets.
Good knowledge in API testing.
Knowledge of Java basics and OOP.
Capable of manual testing and has an eye to catch defects from cosmetic to complex nature.
Support in test execution planning and reporting.
Good knowledge of Unixbased operating systems.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail.

Soft Skills:

Capability to quick learning of environment and new tools.
Enthusiastic to learn new tools and technologies.
Think creative, smart and come up with new ideas to improvise the testing process.
Adapt to changing environment and system requirements.
Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of distributed systems architecture.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
