Our Tax practice is made up of a team of professionals
providing specialized tax technical services to US clients.
The opportunity

Your key responsibilities


You're likely to spend your time on a diverse array of projects, responsibilities and tasks, supporting client engagements by participating in day-to-day interactions with team members, providing a quality work product and driving delivery of services to meet deadlines.

You will serve as a trusted preparer and role model for our people across multiple teams, research tax law issues and provide assistance to help clients understand risks and potential needs for additional tax advisory or compliance services.

Responsibilities include

  • Performing tax research
  • Preparing tax information returns and income tax returns for exempt organizations including Forms 990, 990PF, and 990T.
  • Preparing state returns as well as foreign information returns
  • Analyzing proper tax treatment of various transactions. Reviewed sourced data, make decisions with regard to proper tax reporting income and deduction.
  • Translating complex data from a range of sources into clientready insights and deliverables to support informed decisionmaking concerning required tax reporting

You will support the Exempt Organization practice with the preparation and delivery of tax information statements, tax returns and related foreign reporting for tax compliance engagements with public charities, hospitals, universities and retirement plans.


You'll be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to analyze tax issues, determine alternative methods of problemsolving and arrive at recommendations
  • Support Seniors, managers, and senior managers with reconciling returns, efiling returns, and validating data in the tax system
  • Communicate complex tax issues to colleagues, to enable evaluation and review of tax compliance requirements central to fulfilling tax reporting obligations
To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent degree preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team, assist with a variety of projects of varying degrees of complexity
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
Ideally, you'll also have

  • Thorough knowledge tax compliance, information reporting rules, fiduciary and/or income tax law and concepts required to prepare US federal and state tax information statements and tax returns (not mandatory)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
