We are seeking a
Network Engineer in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a state-of-the-art, highly available, trading network.

Your daily activities will consist of tuning the network for optimal latency and high availability while supporting the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Participate as a member of the Global Infrastructure team tasked with defining and implementing cuttingedge technology solutions across the firm
• Develop standards for companywide infrastructure solutions
• Work with vendor support teams to remotely install and configure L2/L3 switches, routers, and firewalls
• Manage dedicated connectivity between public and private clouds
• Lead global network architecture discussions
• Evaluate and recommend changes to processes to increase team productivity
• Work with business partners to meet needs for systems availability, disaster recovery, and security
• Setup fully audited change control for network configuration changes
• Develop and deploy solutions to maintain systems availability
• Provide technical support and guidance to fellow team members
• Participate in patch management and vulnerability mitigation
• Tune the network for optimal performance
• Actively troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Requirements:

• 35 years of experience working as a Network Engineer
• Knowledge of tuning dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Experience supporting VPN infrastructure over various mediums (MPLS, P2P, etc.)
• CCIE certification or relevant level of experience
• Experience with Cisco NX-OS, IOS, ASA, and FirePower platforms
• Must understand firsthop redundancy technologies (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP)
• Understanding of the TCP/IP network stack and the ability to troubleshoot networkrelated issues using relevant tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.)
• Proficiency with FCoE, iSCSI, or Fibre networks
• Proven experience supporting a latencysensitive global network
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Passion for collaboration and proven success in a fastpaced work environment
• Experience with VMware NSX or other SDN platforms a plus
