Responsibilities & duties:
- Develop software (50%)
- Architecture and implementing new features
- Review team members' codes
- Offer technical leadership 30% of the time
- Responsible for guiding and owning the technical roadmap to achieve development workflow
- Delegate tasks to the team and achieve future goals weekly, monthly, and quarterly
- Work with the Product Lead in grooming and organizing prints
- Develop technical strategies to align with business goals
- Optimize and audit tools, processes, and structures, therefore, improving velocity
- Identify and prevent risks through contingency planning
- Manage people 20% of the time
- Foster and build the tech team
- Motivate staff and provide a comfortable work environment
- Mentor and develop junior engineers for the future endeavors of the program
- Manage operations and conduct meetings to look for better plans
- Collaborate with the Product Lead in delivering quarterly presentations on the team's progress to the organization
Required Skills:
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like SAFe, Agile, Test
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work well individually and with a team. Good work ethic, selfstarter, and results oriented.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering & Architecture
- Strong expertise and knowledge in LINQ, Entity Framework and other ORM Frameworks.
- Strong Handson development experience in web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, React, or other frontend frameworks.
- Experience implementing: Micro Services with Restful API/Graph QL in.
- Hands on experience using GIT, resolving merge conflicts and merging branches
Physical and emotional requirements for the job:
This position is to be performed primarily remotely from an individual's home office and involves sedentary work. The position will require traveling to client offices when necessary.
Employees in this role can be expected to exert up to 10 pounds of force on occasion to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move standard electronic equipment.
Employees are expected to make decisions in a timely manner and display emotional intelligence during occasional stressful situations.
