who we need...


We are looking for an
Order Manager who will assign and coordinate translation project activities among appropriate external resources that vary by project and can include translators, editors, proofreaders, DTP designers, and localization engineers.

The Order Manager will work client side.


what we need you to do...

  • Responsible for collaborating and coordinating translation requests with existing vendor base
  • Managing tasks such as order clarification, order processing, allocation, deadline monitoring, query management, new invoice processing
  • Reviewing clients' requests and assess needs for additional information, e.g., editable formats, data preparation, compilation of glossaries, previously translated similar documents, list of acronyms, technical terminology, and translation memories
  • Coordination of extensive, multilingual translation projects
  • Working according to the established workflows, adopted platform(s) and processes, overseeing the use and maintenance of tools such as translation memories, style guides, and glossaries
  • Handle customers' feedback and complaints/escalations operationally and as first point of contact

what we want you to have...

  • Minimum three years of experience in translation industry with good proficiency of translation tools
  • Proficient use of CAT tools. XTM is a plus.
  • Prepare and edit cost estimates/quotes
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to professional customer service
  • Positive attitude and a true team player with clear sense of accountability
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Energetic selfstarter with initiative and creative approach to problem solving
  • Fluency in English and preferably German.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
