Job Description:

We're looking for a Senior Engineer who will work closely with our engineering, product, and design teams to implement the future of our product and build amazing experiences for our customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Focus on development and rapid prototyping skills and a keen eye for visual detail at the pixel level.
• Widely proficient in backend technologies and relative scripting languages.
• You will play an essential role in rapidly implementing and iterating over UX design concepts in collaboration with our design team, bringing the presentation layer of interfaces to life for our worldclass customers.
• Working alongside other teams (engineering, product, and design) cross functionally, love learning, be detailoriented.

Qualifications:


You have expertise in the following:

• Back-end languages and MVC frameworks (in house we use PHP 7/CakePHP and )
• JavaScript (ECMAScript 6) and at least one of the major JavaScript frameworks , Angular, React, etc.)
• HTML5, CSS3, Canvas, etc.
• CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS
• Integrating with 3rdparty and internal APIs
• Experience working with design teams
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Experience or deep curiosity for the following would be a plus:

• Passion for front-end design and implementation — from building responsive solutions across multiple devices to writing high-performance, reusable code for UI components
• UX + development and visual sensitivity
• Prototyping skills — ability to create quick prototypes to test feasibility and allow for rapid evolution of ideas
• Design and architecture of microservices
• REST / GraphQL API design and implementation

• PHP

• Querying and processing large datasets
• Eventdriven systems (AMPQ queues, messaging systems like Apache Kafka)
• Knowledge about backend systems (e.g. SQL or noSQL databases)
• Developing and deploying on containers (Docker)
• CI/CD systems
