As a key member of the Moody's Local team, the Strategy & Business Analyst will be afforded unique visibility into Latin America domestic strategies cutting across all lines of business and have the opportunity to contribute to their execution and success in a dynamic environment.

In this role, responsibilities will vary, but, in general, will include researching of markets insights for Latin America, supporting and conducting project management, helping produce presentations for senior management and reviewing P&L structure for the regional domestic business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of Moody's Local strategies in Latin America like M&A transactions, greenfield, and new products
  • Help in standardizing and improving usability and access to regional information (example: developing Power BI dashboards for market data, pricing exceptions or workloads)
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of data and consistency for other requirements like market research or P&L review by country / region
  • Contribute to adhoc analyses, presentations and special projects as needed in the region like Town Halls or project tracking

Experience/Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution (business administration, economics, accounting or engineering)
  • Master in Finance or Capital Markets is a plus
  • 23 years of work experience with exposure to financial services or consulting
  • Demonstrated familiarity with business and accounting concepts
  • Strong communication skills, evidenced through work experience, coursework and/or extracurricular involvement
  • Knowledge in Excel, Power Point and Power Bi is required
