Who are you?


Do you have a background, experience or pure passion for health and wellness? Do you get excited about data and problem solving? Virgin Pulse is looking for a Data Operations Specialist on the Client Operations team to handle the initial setup and automation of data file transfers as well as monitor data file transfer performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.


In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Virgin Pulse products.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Virgin Pulse data file transfer capabilities and protocols.
  • Develop a team culture that emphasizes quality endtoend delivery, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Support team with technical and operational aspects of data operations as needed to meet SLAs and client commitments.
  • Partner with Account Management and Delivery Team Leads to prioritize and execute upon client commitments.
  • Ensure team follows standard processes and support clear lines of ownership and accountability.
  • Serve as internal and clientfacing point of escalation for data operations and EFT activities.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of our data operations and EFT methodology.
  • Meet with team members on a regular basis to provide mentoring, discuss performance and work on individual development.
  • Complete employee reviews and provide Leadership team with feedback/recommendations on salary adjustments and promotions.
  • Manage and monitor distribution of data operations case workload amongst team members to ensure ontime and accurate completion of deliverables.
  • Partner directly with the Product team to understand new features and provide training to data operations team members as required.
  • Engage in detailed analysis of EFT issues to determine the source and identify when an issue must be escalated to the appropriate department and Director's attention.
  • Respond to and resolve routine requests and questions.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance processes to drive overall performance of file transfers.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:

What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Statistics/Information Science, or equivalent, in related discipline.
  • 35 years of professional work experience in data management, information systems.
  • Willingness to learn new EFT and monitoring tools.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Experience with GlobalScape, MOVEIt and AWS preferred.
