The opportunity

  • This critical role holds responsible for complex cost allocations of shared services and expenses across multiple projects and engagements for CT Products based on Total Cost of Ownership
  • Additionally, responsible for costing engagements as an input to pricing.
  • As an EY Product Costing and Cost Allocation expert, you will provide the economic foundation upon which prudent and profitable decisions are built

    • Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the CT methodology to build, evolve, templatize, and deploy models to allocate shared business costs across dozens of products and hundreds of engagements
  • Provide accurate, timely, and defensible cost estimates and analysis for a growing subset of engagements utilizing the Client Technology software ecosystem
  • Iterate on a per-engagement basis to enable business counterparts to make appropriate pricing decisions based on your data
  • Build a global, virtually connected team of costing and cost allocation experts, adding capacity and expertise as more Client Technology products move under your practice
  • Identify processes, methods, and other areas that can be targeted for cost reductions

    • To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Positively and materially affected business outcomes through costing
  • Costed software deployments that are highly scaled and globally distributed, including infrastructure, SaaS and On-prem
  • Managed costing and shared business cost allocation for a large number of technology engagements and use cases, including compute infrastructure, SaaS, and on-prem
