FULLY REMOTE - Senior Software Engineer (Python/React)

We are headquartered in Chicago and have a Cognitive Assessment platform using Flask and React that requires a new lead developer to maintain the project. Our application has a 15-minute quiz translated into 5 languages with webhooks alerting us in Slack when someone has a high score. There are several features we would like to add to the application but initially, we need someone to review the code and get it working again on a new AWS instance as it’s currently not hosted and our previous developer is no longer working with us. 

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who excels with multi-tasking and can help build scalable new software applications and be an integral lead engineer on the team. This person will need to have mid-senior level experience with Python and React. This person will be a core member of our team and will work alongside other engineers and professionals who are like-minded and passionate about what we do.

Requirements

What You Need for this Position

Over 5 years of experience in:

• Working experience with Python and Flask
  

• Working frontend development with React.js
  

• Knowledge of databases specifically with MongoDB
  

• AWS
