About the role
We're looking for a Product Operations Sr. Specialist (Payments) to drive and manage valuable partnerships in Latin America and provide the best solutions related to our Payment and Financial Services.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in payment processes and systems in Latin America.
What you'll be doing Manage global operations for all payments, both for passengers and drivers Work cross-functionally to design, develop and launch the payment strategies that will maximize value for Beat and its customers across the product portfolio Work with internal and external stakeholders to optimize payment flows to increase revenue, manage costs and deliver a seamless experience Develop market intelligence reports and provide market drivers for the strategic planning process Identify and drive payment optimization initiatives with internal and external partners Deliver meaningful data analysis and insights to drive decisions for payment routing Performs statistical analysis of data to determine operational capability and to generate potential improvement recommendations. Build and maintain relationships with partners, including card processors, card issuers, bank payment processors and other alternative payment providers Support implementation teams within the payments domain and across the company as a subject matter expert on operational matters, to resolve any issues. Collaborate with Payments leadership to further develop the Payments Operations team into a high performing organization. Define, execute and communicate operational processes, standards, and best practices that work flawlessly and minimize firefighting. Report on key payment metrics and monitor payment KPIs Be responsible to maintain service levels
What you'll need to have At least 5 years of experience in Payments Operations Data-driven approach Experience in working with Payment Gateways/Acquirers and other alternative payment providers. Experience in managing card network relationships and alternative payment methods Expertise in regional (LATAM) payment system intricacies and standard practices with an understanding of cultural and regional differences in attitudes towards different payment mechanics Experience with Billing systems (desired) Knowledge of the ride-sharing industry (desired) Experience with alternative means of payments, electronic wallets, payments with QR codes (desired)
