Descripción:ITS Automation Developer Job Description The Kimberly-Clark Information Technology Solutions (ITS) function is looking for an Automation Functional Engineer responsible for developing RPA software, monitoring production automation, developing and optimizing automation schedules, and providing level 1 support for production automation failures. This individual will collaborate with IT business analysts and IT Automation Solution Engineers to receive automation requirements and design specifications. They will then develop and test solutions in K-C’s preferred RPA Software, provide technical support during user acceptance testing and production moves.
Once automation moves to production, this individual will provide Hypercare support until solution is deemed stable. This individual will also be involved with automation scheduling and bot optimization activities by monitoring capacity and analyzing upcoming automation use cases to slate new automation into existing schedules. This position reports to the IT Automation Delivery Manager and will work with virtual global team members and 3rd party vendors, delivering and supporting automated solutions for various businesses and functions at Kimberly-Clark using agile delivery methods.
This individual should be a self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, cutting edge environment. The role requires significant collaboration with IT resources and will at times require the ability to present technical details to a less-technical audience.
Fluency in English is a must. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Core Accountabilities * Accountable for delivering automation solutions leveraging Automation software (RPA, OCR, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive, etc.) utilizing best practices and following all K-C development standards. * Should have hands on experience on Blue Prism development * Should have .Net experience in order to write code stages (Should be a Full Stack Engineer) * Accountable for analyzing business requirements for developing functional and non-functional system requirements * Participating in technical solution design to address business requirements * Performing Proofs of Concept for feasibility analysis for the proposed automated solution * Ability to deliver within planned timelines * Following best practices for code development, reviews, and releases * Troubleshooting capabilities for the issues to identify the root cause * Fixing bugs during SIT, UAT, Hypercare, Post-Production * Working with the business teams during the UAT and production roll-out * Ability to support and provide quick resolution for issues after go-live * Identifying and creating reusable components * Accountable to support and enhance eco-system properties like Stakeholders Dashboards, BOT Store * Timely escalating senior technical members for any concerning issue * Can do approach and a positive attitude to support the project as and when required * Good communication skills * Performs code review for designated automation processes * Ensures automated process comply with automation stage gate governance * Promotes Automation design principles and standards for developing and executing Automation processes * Participates in the Design of Automation processes to ensure alignment with Automation program objectives * Accountable for providing technical support during user acceptance testing and production move and for providing Hypercare support post go-live * Collaborates in Platform Tech Upgrades, Disaster Recovery and related Testing MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education required: B.A.
in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business or related fields Experience: 2 – 5 years of IT experience Required Skills/Qualifications: * Minimum job experience of 1-2 years working as a business analyst / technical business analyst on an automation/RPA team preferred * Strong technical skills and experience with the software development lifecycle and change control procedures * 1 year of programming experience with the Blue Prism RPA Software * Experience providing production support * Understands the use of design principles and when RPA software is suitable * Ability to collaborate with other technical resources to problem solve and identify solutions to technical challenges * Strong virtual meeting facilitation abilities * Prioritization and time management * Excellent, proactive problem solver, strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions. * Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English (and have worked in global/multicultural environment).
Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as part of the RPA delivery cycle. * Prior functional experience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile development methodologies including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance * Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills.
Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems * Ability to understand and create business process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation * Exposure to performance measurement and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six-Sigma, preferred Preferred Skills/Qualification * Degree in Management Studies (with IT as a specialization) * Experience with RPA design patterns and practices including queue management * > 1 year of programming experience with an RPA software * Hands on experience with Blue Prism RPA Software * Formal training in RPA software and experience leading a design authority function * Experience developing and executing RPA Test Scenarios * Experience mentoring and overseeing other developers and business analysts to design, develop and deploy automations ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE: Role will report to the IT Automation Delivery Manager in the IT Engineering and Applications organization.
