Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a highperforming team of account executives to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth for the company.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability within the sales team.
- Encourage and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Engage with key clients to develop deep relationships, understand their business challenges, and propose tailored IT consulting solutions.
- Drive the sales process from plan to close, leveraging your understanding of IT consulting services to address client needs effectively.
- Implement robust sales training programs to enhance the team's product knowledge and sales skills, ensuring they are equipped to meet the evolving demands of the market.
- Continuous coaching of the sales teams, to ensure they are meeting their goals and growing their personal careers at Marketeq.
- Assist new Account Executives with closing deals in their first 60 days during onboarding.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving business goals, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving longterm success.
- Utilize datadriven insights to inform sales strategies, forecast revenue projections accurately, and adjust tactics as necessary to meet targets.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in building and managing successful sales teams, with a preference for backgrounds in prerevenue bootstrapped startups.
- Demonstrated success in an Enterprise IT Consulting sales environment, with a minimum of 1 year of consultative sales experience.
- A strong foundation in leadership and management principles, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team towards achieving sales excellence.
- Excellent executive communication skills, capable of engaging with clients at the highest level and articulating complex IT solutions in a compelling manner.
- A deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, with the agility and flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
- Proven expertise in one or more of our core service areas (AI, Data Analytics, Software Development, etc.), with at least 3 years of relevant product knowledge.
- A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales revenue goals for 1 year or more.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and effective decisionmaking in sales management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage forecasting and revenue projections based on sales pipeline and team performance.
