The Walt Disney Company, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading diversified international family entertainment and media enterprise with the following business segments: Disney Entertainment, ESPN, Disney Parks, and Experiences and Products. From humble beginnings as a cartoon studio in the 1920s to its preeminent name in the entertainment industry today, Disney proudly continues its legacy of creating world-class stories and experiences for every member of the family. How you will contribute to our magical experience?:

The Manager of Revenue & Yield Management will be a critical member of the LATAM Finance Planning organization. The role will partner with Advertising Sales and Operations leadership to help establish a LATAM focused RYM process responsible for forecasting, managing, and analyzing Disney's digital inventory in LATAM. The focus of the role is to extract maximum revenue value from our flagship streaming product, Disney+, as well as additional digital assets: websites, apps, and social platforms. While the role will contribute to our overall business planning as part of strategic and budget reviews, the primary focus will be the critical day-to-day operational support of ongoing Sales efforts. Specifically, the Manager will contribute to the forecasting sellable inventory to assist in the creation of media plans, regulating pricing, analyzing inventory usage, and reporting on key insights that drive the organization towards our revenue targets.

The successful candidate should be experienced in digital inventory forecasting and management, adept at turning historical content consumption data into future-facing sellable packages. They'll be able to assess inventory usage, flag potential issues and risks, and suggest changes in commercial tactics to maximize revenue potential.
    • Help establish the Revenue & Yield Management function within the LATAM Ad Sales organization.
    • Forecast sellable ad impressions at a network level and for specific inventory segments to assist Sales & Operations with the creation of media plans and adjustments to active campaigns.
    • Analyze data to identify ad inventory/revenue impacting insights, trends, and patterns.
    • Assist in the deployment of forecasting tools and systems.
    • Incorporate future content/product updates into impression forecasting.
    • Contribute to ad policies that define category/brand restrictions, content rules, age limitations, and user experience considerations (i.e. frequency capping), and factor all requirements into forecasts.
    • Provide expertise on how changes to targeting, flight dates, creative, frequency capping, etc. will impact available inventory and guide Sales & Ops on re-expressions for under-pacing campaigns.
    • Design inventory reporting to monitor, regulate, & analyze supply and usage (including detailed sell through reports).
    • Generate revenue reporting and extract insights for cross-LOB stakeholders and leadership
    • Ensure pricing strategy enables Sales teams to reach targets
    • Track revenue spend by advertiser, category, and agency groups
    • Collaborate with global teams and act as a regional center of RYM excellence for other LATAM offices.
    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of TWDC's ad offerings & strategy, and follow industry developments at-large.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
    • Graduate level or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years in the advertising sector, either publisher/agency side or in ad tech, focusing on inventory analytics and revenue management.
    • Highly competent in managing display and video ad inventory across websites, apps, and CTV environments, including both live and on-demand streaming.
    • Strong knowledge of digital ad sales strategy, process, transaction models, and ad systems/technologies.
    • Experience working in ad-servers (i.e. Google Ad Manager) and inventory forecasting tools (i.e. YieldEx).
    • Expert level user of Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with visualization software
    • Adept in financial modelling and analysis, with experience contributing to annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning.
    • Demonstrated experience in extracting actionable insights and developing business strategies from data.
    • General understanding of the digital media landscape, platforms, technologies, key players, & revenue streams.
