Short Description

  • Technical Software Engineering / Team Lead
  • Full stack Web Developer (Java/J2ee, React/Angular, Java Script).
  • We look for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices, to join our Enterprise Workplace Products Software Engineering Group.
  • You will lead a local team of senior software engineers. You will also work on a globally adopted product portfolio, in a fastgrowing environment collaborating with an experienced distributed team.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Academic qualification in a computer science or STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) related field or the foreign equivalent
- +5 yrs of experience leading software engineering teams

  • Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices to interact with other teams
  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
  • Java and Python and knowledge of distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure etc.)
  • Should have led at least a few initiatives across functional areas.
  • Proven track record of working with Product Management and balancing tradeoffs between technical solutions and business needs.
  • Professional experience working in an agile, dynamic and customer facing environment
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Understanding of dependency injection frameworks (Spring / SpringBoot, Guice, etc.), microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
  • Experience in the all stages of software development lifecycle (requirements, design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, release and support)
  • Excellent understanding and experience of TDD, DevOps and CI/CD to achieve seamless one click delivery
  • Proficiency level of English to interact with stakeholders. Certifications like TOEFL and FIRST are desirable
